We will bring all of the equipment needed for your screening 1-2 hours before the agreed movie screening time, depending on which extras you have ordered. We will start the film for you and then come back once the film has ended to pack up but don't worry your dedicated Technician will only be local, so if there are any issues with your screening, they can come back or guide you over the phone.
Yes, in order for the film to be clearly visible on the big screen it needs to be dark and so we advise starting all screenings at sunset. We can advise on a start time depending on the date of your booking. Alternatively, please visit UK sunset times by clicking here.
Current screening start times are between 4pm - 8pm
Once booked and confirmed we take care of everything from setup, bringing all you need to view and hear the film in epic sound quality, to styling and catering if you choose to add these extras.
If it is a private screening (i.e. on your own property for your own guests & you are not charging entry) all that is required is a power supply and we will do the rest.
A minimum space of at least 5m x 6m (wide) is needed to install the screen, project and sound equipment. The 5m measurement includes a 3m distance between the screen and front row of your audience.
Yes, we take a 50% deposit at the time of booking and then the final 50% 7 days before the event date. In addition, and in accordance with our terms and conditions £100 fully refundable security deposit will also be taken 7 days before the event date.
Yes we have full public liability insurance.
We ideally secure our screens to grass or soft ground using metal stakes, however, if you plan to stage your screen on hard ground we use weights as an alternative.
Yes, please let us know a minimum of 7 days prior to your event date, exactly what you would like to project and we will arrange accordingly.
In the event of rain unfortunately we will be forced to cancel your outside screening, however, we will work with you to either move the screening inside using one of our smaller screens if required or alternatively a new date can be arranged. There may also be the option to take out our "Show Must Go On" extra, which is a high-top black marquee which will shelter you, your guests and our equipment's from the elements!
We always follow the weather forecast closely but in some cases, the weather can be unpredictable which may result in your event being cancelled on the day.
In the event of winds exceeding 15mph, for safety reasons, unfortunately we will be forced to cancel your outside screening, however, we will work with you to either move the screening inside using one of our smaller screens if required or alternatively a new date can be arranged.

In accordance with our terms and conditions, if you choose to cancel your booking before 14 days of your event date, we will provide a full refund of your deposit, if you cancel within 14 days of your event date your 50% deposit will be non-refundable.
Regrettably, once the balance has been paid in full (7 days before your event date) Epic Movie Nights is unable to offer a reduction in balance or a refund should you cancel your event, regardless if notice is given or not prior to or on the event date. However, security deposits will be refunded in full.
Cancellation due to unforeseeable circumstances or Covid-19 related may be re-booked for an alternative date subject to availability but will be to the discretion of Epic Movie Nights.
